The consequences and risks of using unmanned drones in modern battlefields and the possible rewards are a subject of debate around the world, and as a new age of military and technological advancement is coming upon us we must decide what to do with this types of weapons.
Are the risks worth the rewards in the use of the UAVs?
BIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL WEAPONS AS A THREAT FOR GLOBAL SECURITY
Biological weapons are defined as any disease-producing agent that is used to harm any human or living thing. These type of weapons have been used throughout history on many occasions, ever since the First World War up until the 2000s. These weapons pose a threat to global security as it is very easy to use them and in the span of time, it takes for the weapon to be used and for it to cause harm, the operators of the weapon can easily escape without being noticed.
The use of germ weapons has decreased throughout the years but many nations are still concerned about the possession of such as they can wipe a whole city in just days. There´s been conventions and treaties made but many countries are yet to confirm whether they have possession or not of biological weapons.
These weapons being managed by subversive groups is a big fear of the international community as many countries are currently being faced by these types of groups in their nations.
